Warnings, Suggestions

  • EPILEPSY WARNING FOR WEB BROWSER PLAYERS: Level 3 unexpectedly has some flashing red lights on the object on the ceiling! Please have caution going into that level!
  • Web Browser: Level 2 lighting is kind of whack. Certain platforms aren't lit up properly, but they are there.
  • ZIP Download recommended. Web browser player does not handle lighting as visually accurately, but it does still work.  (Windows only! Sorry Mac and Linux!)

Everything Else

  • Thanks so much for checking out the page, appreciate it if you would give even the first level a shot! Even more if you can get through all 3 levels!
  • Made by me! (cacaochow)
  • Special thanks to my test players! (who I don't want to doxx but thank you all very much for putting up with my janky prototypes)
  • Even more special thanks to my friend (you know who you are) for letting me know about this jam and getting me back into the rhythm of game dev'ving. I know you got sick during the jam and couldn't finish, but I hope we can eventually do a jam together in the future!
Submission for Newbies Game Jam 2023 Have just under 2 years of game dev'ving experience at the time of making, so I'm not exactly a complete newbie, but at the same time not so experienced as well! But I was still able to learn a lot about my limits (physically and mentally), more about lighting limits in Unity (+ how to work with them), more about game design in the dark, how playtesters would react to my levels, etc. Overall, I still learned a lot from this jam, and had a lot of fun while doing so. Would jam again.

Just realized I messed up some color settings before submission, so now the game looks contrast heavy :( It's not supposed to be that hard on the eyes. Oh well, that's something for me to consider for next time!

[SPOILERS] Game cheats controls! Try not to use unless necessary!0 - World lighting off. Very bright.
9 - Infinite health. Nothing can stop you now!
